As the December 29 deadline approached, key players in the financial sector submitted their final amendments to their S-1 applications for spot Bitcoin ETFs to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Firms including Invesco Galaxy, Bitwise, WisdomTree, and Fidelity were part of this last-minute submission rush, following others like BlackRock and Van Eck. Notably, Invesco Galaxy waived its fee for the first six months and the first $5 billion in assets, while Fidelity set its fee at 0.39%, indicating a competitive environment. Bitwise, although yet to name its authorized participants, revealed a potential $200 million share purchase in its ETF.
