The crypto community is facing a new challenge with the emergence of multiple fraudulent accounts posing as the well-known blockchain investigator ZachXBT. Following the deactivation of ZachXBT's official account, these impersonators have surfaced, attempting to scam individuals under the guise of offering assistance. Michael Khekoian of Web3 security firm Wallet Guard has raised the alarm on social media, urging vigilance against these fake accounts.

These impersonators exploit the reputation of ZachXBT, who is recognized for exposing fraudulent cryptocurrency projects. By mimicking his display name, they aim to manipulate users, often leading them towards phishing links and scams. Users are advised to remain cautious and verify the authenticity of accounts offering assistance in the crypto space.

Earlier in the year, ZachXBT was involved in a legal battle with Jeffrey Huang, a.k.a. MachiBigBrother, over allegations of damaging Huang's reputation.
