The Crypto Valley Conference (CVC24), scheduled for May 30, 2024, in Zug, Switzerland, is set to feature its renowned Startup Pitch Competition, spotlighting the most promising blockchain innovators. This event serves as a catalyst for early-stage startups aiming to revolutionize various sectors through blockchain and cryptographic technologies.

Ten finalists, including Blocksport, Brickken, Fume, Hakata, Moonberg AI, Newbridge, Nexity, Onocoy, Open Source Economy, and zkFold, will vie for prestigious prizes and significant exposure. The startups will present their groundbreaking projects to over 1,500 attendees, including potential investors, industry leaders, and peers. The competition offers invaluable networking opportunities through startup booths and interactions with industry veterans.

The array of prizes is designed to propel the growth of the winning startups. Key prizes include a $400,000 funding soft-commitment from Blockwall, priority consideration for Etherlink’s DeFi Catalyst Accelerator with potential seed funding of over $200,000, $135,000 from CV Labs, $45,000 worth of audit and cybersecurity services from Hacken, and an expense-paid trip to Solana’s Breakpoint Conference for the top winner. Additionally, Sygnum Bank offers a one-year membership to the Ryse Web3 growth hub, Lufthansa provides CHF 1000 airline credit, and Spartan Group offers three hours of mentorship for the top three startups. The Crypto Valley Association (CVA) will also grant a free one-year Startup Corporate Membership to the top three winners.

A unique aspect of the competition is the VIP Investor & Startup Matchmaking Lunch hosted by the Mina Foundation, facilitating direct interactions between finalists and key investors, venture capitalists, and accelerators.

The judging panel includes esteemed professionals such as Benedek Orban from Crypto Valley Association, Bastian Wetzel from CV VC, Kurt Hemecker from Mina Foundation, Philipp Vonmoos from Solana Foundation, and Max Schneider from Blockwall.

CVC24 aims to demonstrate the transformative potential of blockchain technology while empowering startups to achieve new milestones in innovation and success.
