Finiko Ponzi Scheme Executive Sentenced to 3 Years in Prison

Lilia Nuriyeva, an executive involved in the notorious Finiko Ponzi scheme, has been sentenced to three years in prison by the Vakhitovsky District Court of Kazan. The scheme, masterminded by Kirill Doronin, promised high returns through a fake cryptocurrency and stock market trading system, causing $55 million in damages. Finiko attracted thousands of investors with false promises and ultimately collapsed, leaving many financially devastated. Nuriyeva’s lenient sentence was due to a pre-trial agreement. Doronin and other accomplices await trial.
